Administration Officer – St James’ CE Academy
- Admin Grade 4, SCP 5-7, £16,004 – £16,651 actual per annum
- 37 hours per week, term time + 5 days
We currently have an Administration Officer vacancy within our busy school office.
As part of the Business Support Team you will provide administration and office support to the teaching staff and the Senior Leadership Team, undertaking a wide range of activities.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and proactive, you will have excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be a confident team player with the ability to think creatively and offer solutions to meet ever changing needs. With a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills, you will continue to improve current systems and processes.
You will also be required to plan, organise and monitor support systems, procedures, policies including safeguarding, data protection and health and safety.
You will comply with and assist with the development of procedures relating to safeguarding, health and safety and data protection, reporting concerns to an appropriate person.
You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a busy office environment, ideally in education, plus a minimum GCSE grade C in Maths and English or equivalent.

I particularly enjoy RE as I like learning more about God and Jesus, there is more and more to learn every day.

I learn something new every day, then I like to go home and do more research, particularly about out topic.
The books we read in school have inspired me to read more at home; I really enjoy reading every day.
